In the tea room venue, Oimatsu, purveyors of traditional court confectionery, will present specially crafted wagashi (Japanese sweets) that have been created in response to the works featured in this exhibition. In the tranquil atmosphere of the sukiya-style architecture, you can immerse yourself in the lingering resonance of the artworks and, together with a bowl of matcha, savour a luxurious moment in which their world unfolds across all five senses.
An experience filled with “intellectual play,” where the historic space of Yuuhisai Koudoukan resonates with contemporary art, you are invited to spend time alongside the sense of eternity that flows through the photographs.
