Guided Tours 展示会場ガイドツアー

Discover KYOTOGRAPHIE through our guided tours, led by knowledgeable guides who provide deeper insight into the exhibitions, venues, and artists. Two types of tours are available: free guided tours introducing selected exhibitions, and paid private tours for a more personalised experience. Whether you are a first-time visitor or returning to the festival, guided tours are a great way to discover KYOTOGRAPHIE from a new perspective.

1. FREE GUIDED TOURS

Enjoy free exhibition tours led by KYOTOGRAPHIE’s in-house guides, offering deeper insight into selected artworks and venues. Visit sites of exceptional historical value—usually closed to the public—and discover a more intimate, authentic side of Kyoto, where photography and heritage come together through KYOTOGRAPHIE’s innovative scenography.

2. PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS *NEW!*

Enjoy a relaxed and intimate private tour led by an official KYOTOGRAPHIE guide. Ideal for small groups of two or more, as well as families.

Meet your guide at the Information Machiya (Hachiku-an) on the day of the tour, where you will plan your visit together in a friendly and informal way. Discuss the exhibitions you would most like to see and the themes that interest you.

Throughout the tour, gain deeper insight into the artists, their works, and the ideas behind each exhibition. You’ll also discover the history and architecture of the venues, along with behind-the-scenes stories about how these spaces were created and transformed—details you might otherwise miss during a regular visit.

Enjoy a fun, engaging, and enriching three-hour experience exploring KYOTOGRAPHIE.

Price

Starts from ¥14,000 for 2 adults.
(Participants must have purchased a KYOTOGRAPHIE passport ticket separately)

For groups of 3 or more, an additional ¥5,000 per person for adults and ¥2,000 per person for students will apply.
Children up to junior high school age are free to participate.
