Did you know that one of the oldest photographic printing techniques produces images in beautiful shades of blue?

In this workshop, participants will experiment with sunlight and shadows, using adaptable professional tools to create vivid blueprints on traditional Japanese paper.

Photographer and cyanotype artist Mako Mizobuchi will guide the children throughout the process and provide a hands-on kit, ensuring a fun and accessible solar printing experience.

Imagine all kinds of pattern combinations using accessories, drawings, or your own hands, and let nature do its work in this fun outdoor session held at the Kyoto Art Center.

The participants will take home three different cyanotype printings as a keepsake of this unique experience!
