CONCEPT|
Inma Barrero's ceramic wall symbolizes this year's theme, "BORDER.
The performance will be held at the exhibition site.
Each performance artist will complete this year's KYOTOGRAPHIE by facing the BORDER in front of Inma Barrero's work and embodying her statement through dance and other means.

The shards of pottery teach us that life is a series of unexpected outcomes, and that the forms of beauty are diverse. (...)
Do walls have the power to Bring people together?
Walls, structures that rise vertically from the ground to the sky, often separate us from the places and people to which we are originally connected.
Walls create new territory. Walls create new territories and generate boundaries, divisions, and otherness within society. But can we not also shift such narratives and envision walls filled with light and possibility?
[Inma Barrero Statement (excerpt )]

STORY|
Introduction)
There are fragile and vulnerable individuals. While leaning on each other, they search for a way to live, for peace. However, because of their weakness, the domination by rights and the division of society are progressing, and gradually, insecurity permeates the peaceful daily life that they thought was always there.

Middle)
The unrest factor increases and rolls down to division and war. In this turbulent world, where people are unable to accept the diversity of those who are different from themselves, they are determined to destroy the division of power and stereotypes, and to fight for a revolution.

Progress)
Rain falls to calm the burned-out earth, new buds sprout, and a new generation, a new world, is born.
