“De donde no se vuelve” the movie is an “infinite monologue” through which Alberto García-Alix brings us closer to his most intimate and poetic side, a journey to memory between the present and the past of his work and, therefore, his own biography. After the screening the artist there will be a Q&A session with the artist.

Alberto García-Alix
Born in 1956 in León, Spain, Alberto García-Alix held his rst solo exhibitions in the early 1980s at the Buades Gallery in Madrid and in London. In 1998 he took part in the rst PHotoEspaña, where his work received high acclaim. In 1999 he received the Spanish National Photography Award, and in 2012 the PHotoEspaña Award. His photographs are included in collections throughout the world, including those of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Spain, Deutsche Börse AG and La Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
