Fujimoto explores sexual minorities, this group has been a recurring subject in his work. For this realization, his photobook 'Forget-me-not' includes photos of the artist’s East African friends combined with Fujimoto's childhood pictures and drawings. They reflect his own happiness, moments of pain while at the same time the life of his friends from Kenya and Uganda. Fujimoto believes identifying as a gay person represents much more than sexuality.
