“Another Way of Telling, New Stories from India and Japan”
Karen Knorr, who is based in London, presents performance works about Japan; and Tokyo based Shiho Kito, presents photography works about India. Their work explores cultural heritage and considers ideology from different perspectives, constructing worlds where reality and illusion intersect. This exhibition was developed by combining Japanese artisan crafts with contemporary art, and is displayed in a traditional machiya house (old-style wooden dwelling in Kyoto).
