Cinema Obscura ©︎Akira Koyama

“Camera Obscura” is said to be the origin of the human visual structure. In this exhibition, using a device with an ultra-sensitive photodetector, scenes are photographed in full color and reflected in a camera obscura box. Inside the box, a frame is set around the “picture,” being projected against the opposite side, and the artist attempts to express that the “room equals a camera.”
