ICP MASTERCLASS

KYOTOGRAPHIE announces a newly formed partnership with the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York, one of the leading photography institutions in the world. In 2015, ICP faculty member, Stéphanie de Rougé has been invited to lecture on the theory and practice of portraiture and lead a workshop on the ins and outs of developing a project.

KYOTOGRAPHIE KIDS program Presented by Petit Bateau Japan.

KYOTOGRAPHIE collaborates with Petit Bateau in 2015 for the children’s program. These children’s events explore the world of photography. Special workshops in 2015 are primarily created to be a fun way to develop understanding and focus on enhancing the mediums appeal through education and interactivity.
The festival and Petit Bateau will also introduce a FREE KYOTOGRAPHIE KIDS Passport available in exhibitions venues. Packed with exciting activities to explore each exhibition.

Night Events

KYOTOGRAPHIE 2015 introduces extensive culture in Kyoto related to photography including Jazz events in association with KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET which was formed in celebration of the 20th anniversary of ‘Kyoto Jazz Massive’, a project by a world-famous Jazz-DJ Shuya Okino.  We welcome you with variety of events which represent our theme of this year: “TRIBE”.
